Likely plan for the draft

The draft is deep on defense. Zeigler would have to really goof up not to get a player who makes a difference this season.
I can see moving up in the second or third to get players they see as starters instead of projects.
McDaniels scares me. He's the guy who traded a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th to draft Tebow.

Zeigler will be the steadying force.

It would be interesting to see the Raiders' board. Who are their top 5? Where is Richardson?

That kid is something else. If he hits, he will be a star in this league. If he doesn't, he will flame out before he even gets started.

I've always said that the draft is a crap shoot and that many of the players turn out to be crap.

i dont see us moving up

if richardson is there at #7 he is our pick
if he is not tyree/carter will be the pick dt/edge are huge needs for us, chandler jones can be cut loose next yr, 2nd rd cb

mstrbass2000, I would be very happy with this draft if we add a stud on the defensive line, a quality starter (upgrade) on the offensive line and a solid, starting corner, as well as a few players competing for starting jobs. Imagine Wilson coming off one edge and Crosby coming off the other. In some ways, the best position in this draft may be edge. Shoot I’d draft two pass rusher. The QB must go down and he must go down hard!
