Thread: What We Suspect Was True About Waller

Yep. He changed. He became "hollywood" with his now wife. Then a diva about McDaniels slipping about the news. Dude and his wife just wanted to make a big deal on social media. bottom line, football is no longer his priority. I am sure he will have a good season this year to prove a point, but that is it. Money and fame got to this dude. I still really appreciate what he does outside of football and for the community, but last year was total BS.

Sad to see, yes great in the community, but does not remember how he got here......again, a strong woman directing the scenes?

Agreed, Patriot way, don't put up with too much crap. I'm looking at FA, no nonsense, lunch box guys, get to work, play football, play hard, go home, do your job. How many NE defensive players have made it to the Hall during Brady's tenure there? Seymour? That's how Belichek's NE way is, no nonsense, work together as one. If you can't do that, good bye....Abrams lasted quite a while, which was a bit surprising.

Glad Waller is gone after his last two years of subpar play, availability and effort. wish him the best though.

Waller was taken off the Ravens practice squad for nothing. We got a couple of nice seasons out of him and a free Late round 3rd. Its one of the few wins for the Raiders.

I like Waller a lot and what he has overcome plus he used his own personal issues to speak out to others to help others. Commendable stuff.

But, the business side of football, he was not buying into the new regime and that happens. I don't have any hard feelings towards him. Hopefully, he looks good with the Giants. I have no problems with them and Saquon went to Penn State so I root for him. It will be nice to root for Waller as well.

This year, he will be available about 12-14 games, look good, then disappear in 2024, injured nearly the entire year. His legs and commitment are breaking down.

I'd assume this as well. I think he will be fine this year and then he will slowly disappear and the Giants will be left thinking about what could have been. It sucks we didn't take the 2nd rounder for him last year but I think we got what was best for him this year. Next year we mightve gotten a 5th...mightve....
