I know many are down on Carter because of his driving issues and the fact he was 9 pounds over weight and his pro day wasn't good, but I think the stress of the arrest through him off. He already pleaded his driving problems so that is over. He's still rated the number one on Mel Kipers board for what that's worth. I think if he still available at #7 the Raiders should still draft him. Its a huge need and he will be a star in the NFL.

im leaning this draft will be 60% defense, we should come out of this with 3 defensive starters

Agreed, Waller/Moreau 2022 TE production can easily be duplicated with Hooper and Howard. In addition we can add a drafted rookie to the mix with little pressure to perform out the gate, got a pair of veterans in the room to help bring him along.
