Wow, I am in total shock here. I hate being in this situation. I always want a win, but effects our draft position. Shit.

So we won a game, our fourth one of the season, our second win in a row. It was an exciting win for sure. I know I was thrilled to see the win.

Do we really have a chance at the playoffs sitting at 4-7? We have 6 games left. If we win every remaining game, we end up 10-7, still likely out of the playoffs and picking about 18 to 20. If we go 4-2 we end up 8-9 and we definitely miss the playoffs.

The Raiders under Carr have done this a few times now, winning games once the pressure is off, or losing games once the pressure is on.

I would much rather go 3-14 and pick an elite QB to turn this franchise around for good than win a couple of close games that take us out of the running for the truly elite QB. The feeling of winning a game that is pretty much meaningless pales in comparison to a perennial mediocre franchise.
