    The Next Draft

I know many here want to go QB with the first round pick. It doesn't look like the Raiders will have a shot at C.J. Stroud or Bryce Young, unless they trade up.
This team has serious needs at other positions. I can't see trading up. Should they look at Will Levis, Tanner McKee, or Jayden Daniels? Even if we land a top QB,
how good will they be behind the Raiders OL? We also have the worse defense in the league. It's going to be a hard choice. I wouldn't rule out trading down to
    get more picks.

I think we just need to get guys to get on the field for 4-5 years. Dating back to the Kolten draft, if he went basic, nothing exceptionally spectacular, that is 25-30 roster players that could stick....you draft a steady Jeudy over Ruggs, pass on Arnette entirely, draft Josh Allen....defense over Ferrell.....it's not sexy like Ruggs, but steady and progressive, instead of Parker......Orlando Brown....we reached on a ton of guys during the Gruden years. 1 player is not going to turn the defense around, it's a collective effort, you Crosby playing his heart out, but we need the other 10 guys to ball out as well, but when you need a Dallin Leavitt because you screwed the Abram pick....that sets you back 3-4 seasons, couple that with Ferrell.....

The smart thing to do would be the best defensive or OL player available. This defense needs so much work they could spend the entire draft trying to luck into a full time starter

I’d like the BPA approach. Defense first. I’d love a can’t miss LB we need Safeties, Corners, and Line. Whoever is the BPA is on that side of the ball, take him. We could’ve had Micah Parsons right now, but instead took Leatherwood and gift wrapped him for the Cowboys on the very next pick

I'd like to see an EDGE rusher drafted high to match with Maxx Crosby.
I feel sorry for Crosby getting double blocked and Chandler Jones is not the answer.
A vet like Incognito would go a long way towards fixing the OL.

If the Raiders think that they need a QB then they should trade up and get one. There is no point in short-changing the game's most important position. The other positions can be filled through a combination of draft & free agency.

Parsons was like top 15, Leatherwood was in the 20's.

We didn't even try to address the OLine this past offseason....Alex Bars.....geez come on. Parham is okay, but hole at both guard spots and RT? If they go into next season saying Munford has progressed to a Day 1 pick....McDaniels better be warming up that pick up out of town.

I like the BPA approach too. Wayyy too many holes to fill from O-line to every level of the defense. Thankfully we have a good amount of draft picks in this draft, and we sorely need Ziegler and Kelly to really nail the draft for the Raiders. (No more assinine reaches)
Unfortunately due to salary cap issues, we are not going to be able to be very active in free agency this upcoming offseason so the draft is going to be where we really strengthen this team.
