    We are competing for FIRST

Right now, we would have the second pick in the draft! https://www.nfl.com/news/2023-nfl-dr...top-five-selec

The only silver lining in this NIGHTMARE of a season.

So upsetting that we had such an exciting offseason, coming off a very close playoff loss to the AFC Champion Bengals.. to getting Davante Adams, Chandler Jones and what was considered to be one of the best playcallers in the entire NFL. Everything was pointing to an exciting successful year for the Raiders finally getting Carr a true #1 WR paired with one of the best TEs in the league and an exciting young talented slot in Renfrow.. wow, the possibilities...

Fast forward to today... all eyes on NEXT season and the hopes / possibilities of what can be, with the hopes of the Raiders drafting a Justin Herbert type rookie QB that can come in year 1 and make an impact.
That is the only hope we as Raider fans have at this point...
Reality will probably be that the Raiders screw up our draft position by winning 2 or 3 games more pushing us out of top spots to get the franchise type QB we are hoping for. Instead we will draft some head scratcher and be the same ol Raiders, just another year.

One thing is for sure, I will NEVER have high expectations for the Raiders going into a new season ever again
After 20 plus years of the same old shit year in and year out I have FINALLY learned my lesson... the Raiders are the Raiders and that means another losing season... even if it starts off well, something unbelievable will happen that will derail the success

Get that top pick....let McDaniels find his QB....just like Gruden did with Gannon.

Still eight games left in the season, don’t hold your breath, in Raiders getting top spot, last time Raiders had a number 1 spot, Raiders got JaMarcus Russell, should gotten Calvin Johnson, Raiders never seem to get anything right, so look for a blunder in the offseason.

    Yup.. exactly.
HOWEVER i do have more faith in Ziegler drafting 1st round and 2nd round picks than ive had in previous GMs the past 20 years. I dont have much to base this off of other than a gut feeling. He seems to be a more level headed approach type guy. Where a top notch talent is staring you in the face and you look the other way type approach the Raiders took in the past til now, where Ziegler does his homework and knows the exact QB McDaniels needs to run his system.

The RAIDERS will find a way to fuck it up.. thats what we do.. the opposite of what makes logical sense. Plus we are snakebitten... we cant do anything right.. not even tank correctly to get the franchise altering player we sorely need, especially at QB.
ONLY the Raiders can intentionally try to tank the season and accidentally win games to push us out of the top 5.

We are what gamblers call MUSH

Carr will win enough games so we don't get a quality replacement.

Yup, when it truly doesnt matter anymore, Carr will have a crazy game or two (or three - whatever it takes to miss out on that franchise altering QB in 2023 draft), just so us Raider fans can wallow in our misery for many more years to come

That's how he has done it his entire career, empty stats....when it don't matter we'll an pull upset. WE should sit him the last month of the season to remove the injury risk, he has an injury guarantee at year end for the league.

Going to be a lot of tears on this forum next year when the Raiders Draft Will Anderson and keep Carr.

    And Keep McDaniels
