Eagles Talking to Raiders About Josh Jacobs Trade?

    https://section215.com/2022/08/07/ph...-jacobs-rumor/

Could McDaniels have player Jacobs in the HOF game to improve his' trade value?
There are a lot of rumors that several teams are interested.

What would the Raiders get for him? I think Jacobs makes the Raiders stronger. He's our best back, a good blocker, and can make catches.

i still think josh jacobs is traded to someone before the trade deadline, zeus is the future for us kid was impressive running and recieiving the ball vs the jags

Wouldnt surprise me. I figured hed play out this year, decline what he considers a low ball offer from us and sign with someone as a FA, but if you can get something for him now I suppose you do it. I like him but he isnt elite and isnt a game changer. He'll want to be extended as a higher end RB and I wouldnt do that.

Raiders did not pick up his 5th year option…I think
so he a free agent in 2023 and I think we will lose
him to another team…he a good running back but
they do take the most hit on the team and alway one
hit away from injured reserve…..hopefully we get an
offense lineman from the Eagles as they have a very
    good line…

Jacobs is the best back on the team right now. I might trade him for a 2nd round pick, or a good player, but I would keep him rather than getting a 4th or 5th.
Kenyan Drake didn't look great in the HOF game, but his trade value would be a lot less.

Jacobs is clearly our #1, but Drake is coming off injury and White is just a rookie. This could go either way. I guess the question is, do they think White/Drake get it together before the season.

brandon bolden did not play in this game making him a player for us to watch, we already know he is a pass catching specialist, so he is our 3rd down back leaving the rest to fight over 1st and 2nd downs work, i like what i saw of zeus kid ran hard and was hard to bring down he has break away spead vs jacob whom does not and zeus showed his pass catching chops in this game as well

I'd take a 3rd today, it may go up Labor Day weekend to say a 2nd, when teams get desperate.

What would his comp value be if we just let him go in free agency.....

Rapoport is reporting they’re not looking to trade him

The Raiders want to drive up the price. If he leaves after this season, we will likely receive a third or fourth round compensatory pick for him at the bottom of the round. If we trade him, we can get a third (likely) in the middle or top of the round.

I don't see a team putting up a second for him if they can get him after this season and pay no compensation. Giving up a third for a starting RB that could be signed to a longer-term deal before he's traded might make sense for some team.

I like Josh, but he is not a homerun threat in any sense of the word. He's improved as a pass catcher, but he's not a great third down back.
