    Sunday Ticket

It looks like DirecTV will broadcast their last season of the Sunday Ticket.
Starting in 2023, one of three companies will take over the broadcast.
Amazon, Apple, and Disney are in the running. The NFL is looking for at least $2B for the broadcast rights.

What horrible choices. Amazon may well be the best choice to get it.

I wonder if it will be included with prime membership? If so, it a bargain. Amazon now does Yankee games about once a week and its included in the prime membership. DirectV it cost a couple of hundred a season.

Hope it’s Amazon too, nothing but trouble with the Directv for streaming off their app.

Yeah Amazon makes everything so easy, with Prime your products show up in no time, plus returns are easy too.

pretty sure amazon gets it since they already get the thursday games now (1 billion), don't see disney doing anything they are losing their butts on monday night football rights at 1.9 billion, don't see apple being a true threat here

1 billion for thursday games plus 2 billion for sunday ticket is easy 3 billion for all sunday games plus owning thursday games makes amazon the king of n.f.l football

apple is in a very weird place currently, they got iphone still doing well but its heyday is over, they got macs but thats a slow dying business, they got apple tv but it a distant place for em on streaming, they dabbled in ev's,self driving cars,vr,metaverse and now they are stuck trying to get in on video games

ps iphone had a chance to jump up on android tech last yr but passed on including sat coverage and now tesla phone is coming shortly with sat coverage built in utilizing its own sat link service starlink

Elon Musk’s Tesla Starlink is keeping Ukrainians online during the Russian invasion.
