I turned on one Celtics game this year and saw the Black Lives Matter logo on the court. Turned off the TV. So, here's a sports league comprised mostly of black athletes, supporting a Marxist organization that supports the end of capitalism. 1) It's stupid to support such an organization when capitalism is the reason why you're making millions, 2) BLM has done nothing for black people. Maybe they've raised awareness but they've also shaken down businesses for money. They're pathetic.

Numbers are funny things. BLM is all about police killing black people. Compared to black on black crime, fatherless homes in black families, drug use, health issues and terrible inner city schools, the issue of cops killing black people is like a single grain of sand in a kiddie pool filled with sand. Focus on the real issues facing black communities!

In my life, I have done a helluva lot more to help black people have better careers and better lives than BLM has ever done. I'm one person.

I will no longer watch the NBA.
They don't want to acknowledge the real issues in the community. That means they would have to correct the issue themselves. It's easy to point blame at capitalism, the cops, the wealthy, the business owner.
Its isn't easy to accept responsibility, thats why playing the victim is popular

Bull. They constantly demonize the police and attempt to make martyrs and heros out of thugs like Mike Brown.

Are there instances of unjustified killings and use of excessive force ? You bet.

But the narrative that blacks are continually being 'hunted down' and 'exterminated' by Amerikkka's systemically racist police forces is complete and utter bullshit.

That's a lie that the leftists and their media stooges are all too happy to promulgate.

    Blue lives matter.

    But they push the issue

No they don't, but if you look at the statistics, this is an issue that is but a grain of sand in a child's pool full of sand.

The other issues affecting the black community, including terrible inner city schools, fatherless families, drug/alcohol abuse, health issues, children dropping out of school and gang membership are the rest of the sand in that entire pool full of sand. The media and a few politicians keep pushing the narrative of police killing black people to keep America divided and to divert attention from the real issues affecting the black community.

If no member of law enforcement killed another black person in 2021, you would still have gang violence, drop outs, terrible education, black on black crime, drug and alcohol abuse, health issues that would continue to harm this community much more than police excessive force.

In fact, over 80 percent of black Americans (according to a recent poll https://news.gallup.com/poll/316571/...-presence.aspx) realize this and want the same or even more police presence in their communities because of the real issues that face this community.

It’s difficult to converse with people who condemn and dismiss another American’s point of view about basic civil rights or use of excessive force from police. There’s not much room for communication or relating when one either side are closed in this manner.

The use of excessive force by police against black Americans is a systemic race problem specific to America. If you haven’t gathered this from American history, using some semblance of basic human logic to connect the proliferation of this problem to current events, you are lost. The lack of acknowledgement of a problem repeats the symptoms.

It’s fairly easy to conclude that most of the fans on this site who are tired of the NBA or the politics of the players would retract their keyboard warrior opinion if they were in the room with some of their favorite athletes talking about this systemic problem.

Use your closed minded logic that continues to blame the victim in order to hold them accountable for a separate problem.Same bs personal responsibility crusade that Giuliani — a politician — used to attack the victim. He’s not the first. The problem is exacerbated behind this logic.

For anybody who can’t read between the lines: It doesn’t work.

If you make threats that you have a weapon including a firearm in your car and blatenly ignoring officer direction as you reach into said vehicle i don't feel sorry for you. All you have to do is follow simple task direction, if you have a issue with either the way someone is treating/talking to you or handling you get his badge number and file a complaint or talk to the judge about it. At least you will be alive to do so, but you become agitated fight and do your non compliance that's what is gonna happen. Ive been pulled out at gun point i complied with the officers wishes and I'm still alive lol. Fought it in court as well.

You 100% have choices in life, if you make the wrong decision it could cost you your life, simple fact of the matter.
