    Austin Howard, the mistake that still sticks. His contract said "signing bonus" not "roster bonus" This was a clerical error in the admin side of things when he first signed with us.

    Sean Smith, even with a good season, I can't see him sticking beyond this season. Conley is here and should take one of the starting spots. This is a plus side of the draft, we have a rookie at cost controlled rates for multiple seasons. Helps us save 9 million for other areas of need going into 2018......LT, MLB....

    I'm pretty sure, Nelson's pocketing his 2017 1.25 million roster bonus which guaranteed when he exceeded 65% of defensive snaps in 2016.

    it all depends on the wording from the contract,normally roster bonus's earned at the end of the previous season are not counted toward the new seasons cap

    Jano needs to retire he is no longer a sure thing plus he costs way to much.

    i agree,jano is way way over paid for his services "always has" just think about how crazy we were to take a kicker in the 1st rd,1st rd !!!

    since derek carr and gabe jackson got the extension now, they're no longer a free agent next year

    mack getting paid 13.8M next year because of 5th year option
