Definitely a reality check for Guenther as he got out-coached.
we need minkah and a healthy abrams in order to stop the chiefs, held sammy to no damage but got gored by the other 2 wrs

Reality check; Chiefs might end up in the superbowl; where the Raiders going 8-8 this year would be a good thing...

after the first qtr the Raiders were really on a roll; but that soon died

Would have been nice near the end
of the 4th to throw Glennon or
Peterson in the game...not saying Carr
lost his job as starter; more to
    protect him from injuries

Definitely not a good game from DC.

Carr wasn't going up against the 85 Bears, yet only managed 10 points at home. Shut out after the 1st quarter. Big donut.

Not like he didn't have some scoring opportunities after the 1st quarter, either.

Really don't want to hear the excuses anymore. He only has one good WR. The protection sucks. Blah blah blah.

The protection was adequate. Williams, Waller and Jacobs are decent weapons.

The truth is Spagnola ate his lunch yesterday.

When you have numerous possessions and can't put up a single point for over 45 minutes at home....guess what ? The QB has to take most of the blame.

Sure, we know Mahomes has a ton of weaponry and speed and quick strike ability on his side. Yep, the 2nd quarter was a complete debacle that exposed weakness and lack of speed in the Raider secondary. Yep, we still need a better pass rush. The Chefs were able to fully exploit those shortcomings compared to the Mules inability to do so in week 1.

The Chefs can make any defense look bad.

But that has little or nothing to do with Carr and the Raiders being shut out for the final 45 minutes yesterday.

Saying 'Carr sucks' might be an overreaction to yesterday. Saying 'Carr sucks'
    might be a bit simplistic.

But what else are you going to say when the Raiders can't score more than 10 points against KC at home ?

The general consensus here is that 2019 is a make or break year for DC. Yesterday's performance is a step toward 'break' after a solid 'make' performance in week 1.

This is a marathon, not a sprint. Best not to overreact to one game.

    We're on to Minnesota....and guess what ?

They're very beatable. You want to know why ?

Bcz even though they've got two top notch WRs and Cook toting the rock....they still struggle to score points with Kirk Cousins at QB. Sound familiar, DC supporters ?

Could it be that Cousins and Carr are both supposed 'franchise QBs' that are tremendously overrated ? Hmmmmm ?

I don't want to be hearing any excuses after next week. Score some fucking points and BEAT THE VIQUEENS.

Strange to shut out KC in 3 quarters and give 28 in one quarter.

Absolutely. He would have hit a few of the Chiefs' receivers into the stands.

Why run a fade route on 1st and 5 ...that was our chance to get back in the game ... pound it 3 times... You get too cute and bad things happen

Gruden did not make adjustments on Offense after KC made adjustments

We needed to dial up pressure up the middle to get Mahomes out of the pocket . He was way too comfortable back there.

Our secondary was clueless all game but our D coordinator did them no favors . We had Conley matched up vs Kelce , he’s not winning that battle ever .

Our lack of LB speed and WR speed showed

Hopefully Gruden and our staff learn from this game .

If someone told me before the game that KC would score a total of 28 points, I would think the Raiders had a good chance to win. The Raiders scored 24 points on Denver and I thought the Broncos had a better defense.
