    The Inter Milan Thread

In this thread, we will follow this season my favorite soccer team on earth-Inter Milan!

Serie A season starts soon and it promises to be a most interesting year in Italy and the city of Milano.

Inter will be trying to break the stranglehold of our arch rivals Juventus.

Juventus have won the league 8 years in a row and seem unstoppable. Inter has other plans.

The first big thing to happen at Inter this year was the hiring of Beppe Marotta away from Juventus.

Marotta was the brain behind Juventus. To be able to steal him away from our arch rivals was pure gold.

The second big thing to happen and the first major move of Marotta was a change of coach. Inter brought in Antonio Conte, who is one of the best coaches in the world, with more than a few people who support him as the very best.

The next big thing to happen at Inter this offseason was the addition of Romelu Lukaku.

Big Rom was the centerpiece addition of Inter's offseason. Inter and Juventus were locked in a battle over him with Inter winning out.

I can't wait for the season to start.

    Forza Inter!

Inter has spent over $150 million Euros this year on building a juggernaut and still aren't done.

Reports are saying we are trying to acquire Matteo Darmian.

Our defense is going to be a wall this year.

We still aren't stopping after that. Other reports are saying we are going to acquire another striker to pair with Lukaku in Edin Dzeko.

Can't wait for the season to start!

Reports from Italy today stated that AS Roma Striker Edin Dzeko wishes to play for Inter Milan and that Inter does indeed want Dzeko to play for them but the deal is being blocked.

Roma are making absurd money demands from Inter and Inter is only willing to budge a little.

Meanwhile, Juventus has also been in contact with Roma concerning Higuain and this is also holding up the Dzeko deal for Inter.

Just another day in the eternal struggle between Inter and Juventus.

Very interesting reports coming out of Italy today. Italian newspapers reporting that a 3 way Anti-Juventus alliance has been formed between Inter, Roma, and Napoli.

This is quite the shock as these teams normally hate each other but, apparently, their hatred for Juventus trumps their hatred for each other.

The reports go on to state that they have decided that they won't let Juventus block a deal for Inter's Mauro Icardi.

They go on to state that Inter and Roma have agreed to a 3 way deal that involves Napoli which hinges on the Napoli player agreeing to a move to AS Roma.

In this way, they will break the block which Juventus have imposed on them as well as basically force Juventus to sell a player (Paulo Dybala) to one of them or risk losing out being able to move him at all which they need to do at this point.

Interesting times in the eternal war between Inter and Juventus.

A gigantic and shocking turn of events in Italy today. Inter target Edin Dzeko, who agreed to a contract with Inter at the start of the summer, has shockingly decided to extend his contract instead with his current team AS Roma.

    Inter is stunned.

Inter is making a deal for Manchester United striker Alexis Sanchez to bolster the attack.

This is being combined with a move to also acquire Cristiano Biraghi. A huge move to strengthen the wings.

We are witnessing the laying of the foundation of an empire in front of our own eyes.

Inter is becoming a powerhouse once again due to the new ownership who is willing to spend to win.
