    Chris Warren wild card in Raiders’ growing backfield

    ALAMEDA, Calif. — Guy Mezger submitted Tito Ortiz with a guillotine choke. He defeated Masakatsu Funaki for the King of Pancrase Openweight Championship a year later. Nicknamed “The Sandman,” he compiled a decorated career in kickboxing and mixed martial arts, much of which was spent overseas.

    Recently, he tried to make Raiders running back Chris Warren tap.

    “I started inventing new things to wear him out,” said Mezger, who had little luck. “He’s built like a freaking buffalo.”

    preseason is over-rated...but if the guy anything like his dad; then our runningback is found....

    Preseason doesn't mean shit. He played against the Rams scrubs and did well but I want to see him in regular season play before anointing him the next Bo Jackson.

    How many pre-season heroes turn out to be studs at the RB spot for us? I remember quite a few of these on the Raiders over the years. Randy Jordan, etc...I hope he does well of course but that was pre-season.

    Is the rumor that he's up to 280 lbs. true?
