    Vegas Stadium Update!

Looks like the 1st roof truss is up and connected. It's crazy how they can lift that big ass section of steel and move it into position.

Well since it's only just been over 1 year since the ground breaking. They've got a lot done. Plus you/we don't know how much more they've gotten done on the inside either. Plus they have alot of the seating areas done too. Not the seats but the areas where the seats will go. They are still on schedule by the way for 2020. I hope you actually know building a stadium is a little more difficult than building a house and take more time. But seeing some of your comments on other stadium threads gets rid of that hope. It's obviously you have NO IDEA what it takes to actually build a stadium.

I've seen 40 story buildings go up in a year many times. And you're right, I don't have any idea what it takes to build anything. But I've seen cranes put up 3 floors of outer structure in 2 days.

70,000 people in one place, along with a glass roof. Slow is fine. Safety first. This bitch needs to be solid as a rock.

    Las Vegas does get earthquakes
so building the stadium has to be
able to withstand an earthquake if one does
    happens....same deal with the
Rams new stadium taking so long...

Vegas has the lowest rate of natural disasters in the country which is why there are some mega data centers there (looks up 'Switch Data Center' if your curious).

Supposedly they are only 4 days behind right now so still looking good.

Agreed, the heavy duty and most important parts have been done, laying the sanitation pipes, the water pipes, the main electricity in, those were the parts that need to take the time to lay out and done in perfect precision. Once those are laid down, concrete can be laid....once the shell is fully up, that's when things will pick up fast, seat install, wire laying.
