    tyrell williams added

    Tyrell Williams WR, Oakland Raiders
Raiders agreed to terms with WR Tyrell WIlliams, formerly of the Chargers.

Williams' market never really developed, and the Raiders were the lone team connected to him from the start. Big and fast at 6'4/205 with 4.40 wheels, Williams will stay in the AFC West and team up with Antonio Brown and Jordy Nelson in the Raiders' new three-wide set. Nelson figures to spend much of his time in the slot with Brown and Williams outside. After playing third or fourth fiddle with the Chargers, Williams will probably fight with Nelson for scraps behind alpha dog Brown. As is always the case with Williams, he'll have some big weeks here and there but is unlikely to be a reliable fantasy weapon outsid

Boy if we're the lone team connected with him, we should get a decent deal out of this....less than 9 million per?

Pulling out the pink slip and writing Seth Roberts name on it.

If it 8-9 per year not a bad signing. if it's 11-12, not a good signing.

Gruden likes to mix things up, Brown's ability to get open from any receiver spot on the field is going to be a huge boost to what Gruden likes to do. Whether slot, outside, from the backfield. Williams is a huge get to allow Brown to move around. I think Nelson sticks, his 2019 roster bonus being paid out early in December cemented his spot on the roster for 2019.

This is very good news. If we sign him for 9 million per and cut seth its like a net 4-5 million off the cap only. It makes us going for one of the 3 big TE's in the draft more probable in the early part of the draft.
