I'm all in on Caleb Williams
$1.42 million cap
Wow!
I missed it, what was said?
We would have gotten a 3rd rd pick if we left his contract the way it was. When we gave him this new stupid extension, we lost so much, it was so stupid.
This is a myth
why is this?
Didn't he say Mayock was one of the best drafters in the NFL based on how many players are still on the roster?
Who wants Waller on that new extension?
When's the last good draft we had?
- Derek Carr is the best QB we've had since 2013.
- Derek Carr has 3 straight seasons of over 20 TD passes
These stats should not be ignored.
Don't forget the almost INT by Carr in between the 2 fumbles
Dan Ventrelle says Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis ignored allegations of a hostile work environment, ousted him when he went to NFL
Dan Ventrelle, whose abrupt departure as Las Vegas Raiders...
What did u predict?
yeah, what you posted before is a bit confusing or unclear then:
"• The $33M for '23 and $7.5M of his '24 money (total of $40.5M) becomes fully guaranteed 3 days after next year's Super Bowl."
...
Wait, so 3 days after the SB, the 33 becomes guaranteed or both the 33 and 42 becomes guaranteed?
For sure. What the heck did Carr actually get?
Guess all the folks that said Carr will sign a team friendly deal were right. This is extremely team friendly. Wow
I was wrong. Didn't see him...
Wow, quite the turnaround. Kinda interesting to commit to DeVante Adams but not to Carr.
Yeah so you’re saying we turned a $19M QB this yr into a $35M QB
Just so we can say we got a $35M QB for the 3 yrs afterwards?
However you want to spin it, the facts remain:
We were only on...
Yeah, I don't get why people would do that? He's not getting $35M this year, he's getting $19M.
Why would you include this year though? He was already under contract this year for $19M, regardless if this extension happened or not. He's still getting paid $19M this year, not $35M this year.
Why $35.3M a year?
No shit, or those who were like, let him play his final year and then we'll figure it out...
Yada yada yada.
The market price was going to be $40M+ and we had to make a decision this offseason...
Gotcha.
So the people that just got fired, were they good decision makers?
You're saying the new people that just got hired will be good decision makers? How did you come to this conclusion?...
Didn't the "people who actually make the decisions for this team" just get fired?
First answer my question before you ask a new question.
What exactly are we risking?
2 playoff appearances in 8 years. 57-70.
The OP said "It would be a VERY, VERY risky move"
I'm...
