I always felt the same way about Sapp. He was never a true Raider, probably why he rips the Raiders every chance he gets now.
Damn I wish we had a couple of Lincoln Kennedy's on the team now. He was a true Raider warrior and a hell of a player.

My lasting image of Kennedy was in 2003, after the Pitt. game, he limped out of the shower, was haggard and just totally destroyed - he could barely move. Teammates of him helped him get to this locker after that game... |

Lincoln was a true Raider, and until we get some more players on our o line like him we aren't going to go anywhere. There was a time when the Raiders always had the best linemen in the league, I hope we get back to that.

Man I sure miss big ol LK a true Raider! Miss him and the Wiz as well. They knew what it meant to be a Raider, and held themselves to that standard! Wish we could find more players like those two!

I completely agree with Lincoln! The combination of Sapp, Moss and Porter was a very bad mixture for the team.

The image I have of Lincoln is going up into the stands after the Bronco fan for throwing snow balls at him.  He was a true Raider and a warrior. Thank you Linc for speaking your mind!

you know I never thought of it until reading this article..but this is dead on! That created a huge leadership vacuum...like Ditka said...Norv turner should have been immediately fired for letting them elect randy moss team captain.

I know Lincoln well!!! He is TOP in my book!!!! Sapp is just one big loud mouth. Who cares what happens to him. Lincoln needs to be put into the "Hall of Fame" too!!! Lincoln is a true Raider!!!

Major RESPECT for Big Linc...
You set the standard of proffesionalism and what it means to be a true RAIDER.
If possible, I respect you even more to come out in public and blast that jacka** Sapp and prove what a lot of us fans thought all along.
A washed up, egotistical loud mouth who was more than happy to take Al's money when the Bucs kicked him to the curb.
Who takes every opportunity to disrespect the team that gave him a "second" chance to try to make a name for him self in television.
