Breaking News : Nnamdi Asomugha signs 3-year Deal!

Wonder how much are in the form of bonuses?
Could imagine the deal being:

$9m signing bonus (over 3 years = $3m a year).
$2m salary in 2009.
$12.5m roster bonus in 2010
$3m salary in 2010.

That would mean a nice cap hit of just $5m this season.
And a cost of $18.5m in 2010 when there is no cap!

And no, I've no idea of the reality.
Just wondering how they did the deal.

As I said in another thread if we inked Lechler and Namdi it would send a great message to players aound the NFL that Oakland is still a place good players want to be . Message Sent !!!! Bring on some Free Agents !!

this is a fuked up deal for the salary cap. we would have saved money just franchising him.
i think him and his agent did us more harm then good.
untill i see otherwise with regard to the cap figure, i don't like this deal.
who cares about aso if his contract screws us so that we can't bring in any help.

Do you think cutting Harris and Sands leaves enough room for T.J. Who'syourmama or Haynesworth. I am not all that eager to go FA shopping, and doubtful if those guys want to come here, but just speculating.
