Oakland Raiders Redeem Themselves in 23-8 Win On Road
Sunday, September 14, 2008 DeMarcus Davis, SBReport.net, Raiderfans.net ![]() After getting embarrassed in it’s home opener last Monday night, the Raiders looked to right the ship against a suspect Kansas City Chief team. I'll say they redeemed themselves! That was a completely different team I watched today than the one I saw on Monday night in Oakland! Jamarcus threw with more confidence especially in the second half and they ran like crazy! Sorry to see Justin pull the groin muscle but he has decent back up. LET'S KEEP IT ROLLIN!

Kudos to the Oakland defense after head coach Lane Kiffin called out defensive coordinator Rob Ryan for his lack of adjustments the entire game last week. Perhaps that national media attention Ryan forced him to be more accountable for his inactions. This exactly what needed to happen with this team. ACCOUNTABILTY!!!!!!!!!!! and the result was a pounding of the chiefs. This is exactly why criticism is needed. It forces people outside of their comfort zone and forces them to rethink their actions or as they said, "Rob Ryan's inactions". If this had not happened, Ryan would have stuck with his normal system thinking he was doing the best he can and we as Raider fans would not be celebrating a victory. |
