Fargas no matter what anyone said, is bang up with bad legs. Rhodes lost his job to a Rookie on a team like the Colts. Missed 4 games for us last year and got one 100 yard game all season. Bush hasn't still touch the field and we act like these guys are our future. If McFadden is there at #4 we better grab him. If he is not then Tackles-Otah,Clady, Williams or Guard-Alberts should be our pick. There is no way in the world we should go Defense!!!!! And getting C.Long because of his FATHER doesn't mean we are getting Howie. Alot has changed since Howie was here. So get over it.......

The offense is definitely not set for years to come with the current crop of players. However, the defense is only a player or two away from becoming a force. I personally would like Glenn Dorsey over all others as I believe he can help stop the run. Chris Long would be a very welcomed addition that can play the run at DE and also put pressure and take down the qb.
Are Fargas and Rhodes the long term answer... No. Michael Bush... no one knows. Taking McFadden does make sense and will give the Raiders a franchise qb and rb to build together for years, but then the D is still missing a few components.
Drafting Clady, Otah, Williams or Alberts at #4 though is just plain crazy (sorry slump). Only in a trade down scenario would taking one of those players make sense.
Nice write up RiNY... I will be pleased with any elite talent... Glenn Dorsey, Chris Long, Darren McFadden, Vernon Gholston, Sedrick Ellis. As you stated in another post sitting at #4 is looking very good this year
