I think Gholston can be very productive, but I will concede that our system/coaching staff may not be the ones to get it out of him.

I am going to love it when we pick Gholston or C.Long at #4. The contract at that spot should be very nice. Even nicer than Burgess. That should cause for some more Raider news. Listen Raider fans, If we get a Defensive line man instead of McFadden. It will show the whole world just how stupid our scouting team is. Including Mr. Davis. Fargas no matter what anyone said, is bang up with bad legs. Rhodes lost his job to a Rookie on a team like the Colts. Missed 4 games for us last year and got one 100 yard game all season. Bush hasn't still touch the field and we act like these guys are our future. If McFadden is there at #4 we better grab him. If he is not then Tackles-Otah,Clady, Williams or Guard-Alberts should be our pick. There is no way in the world we should go Defense!!!!! And getting C.Long because of his FATHER doesn't mean we are getting Howie. Alot has changed since Howie was here. So get over it.......

Nice write-up. I agree let's hope that Chris is there at four and make him the pick.

As a rookie, he played solid considering what was surrounding him. He played the run very well, but he never was able to develop any moves at the line of scrimmage to get to QBs consistently. He always had a very good motor. PLayed well in a few games and showed promise that he could be a stout DE. But like I said, he was never able to develop into a consistent rusher. When they experimented with him at LB, it was the end of his career here IMO. He always was willing to do whatever it took to help the team. Even going back to DE, and even playing DT to try to make the team and to compete with others on the roster.< |
