With most of the FA WR's off the market, signing Javon Walker made sense. I don't know about the inflated contract given to him, hopefully there's some clauses in there that protect the Raiders if he's injured again. But I like it, another former Donkey turned to the dark side! I find it kind of ironic that his number in Denver was '84' also.....looks like he'll be able to keep it here!

You can't sign him. You have to trade for him.

if his knee can hold up for us, its a huge signing for us and will improve our offense greatly by giving Russell a legit target to throw to. With our WR corps being so weak before the signing, we definitely needed this signing badly for Russell to progress. If we can get another target for Russell possibly in the draft, its all better for russell to get better

If we draft Jake Long watch Harris move to the right side he played better there

Javon Walker
Thank God the Raiders got a Wide Reciever! Jerry Porter was a big dissapointement that never lived up to the hype and had the attitude of spoiled star when he wasn't even a star. I know Walker will come in every day and give it his all every day at practice that's the type of guy he is. I know he has had surgery but that will only motivate him to train and play harder.

I agree there should be a injury clause. The amount I'm kind of on the fence. I would rather pay Walker, who I know has what it take to play in the NFL. Than to spend money on a rookie WR who is a hell of a gamble. Sorry Russel, but these rookies have to prove themselves before they can cash in.
