yea i just got ring of death #2 last week just shippied it via UPS today so hopefully i get it back within 2 weeks. any longer and im complaining lol. It took them like a month to send me the box last time

It's only happened to me once, but I got lucky and they just sent me a whole new xbox, so I shouldn't be having too many problems I would hope.

how long ago did u buy your 1st one? Bought mine like march 07. 2nd time I redlighted in like the past 9 months i think If Gears was for ps3 I'd have already switched...

June 2006.....I was happy that I finally got it but my cheapness kind of took over for minute because as soon as I got in the car I had thoughts about taking it back. I was young at the time so $432 meant something. Now....not so much

haha yea I was gonna stick with ps2 but my friend convinced me to spend 600 on 360 and games + a router and damn thats expensive lol. I only bought it for gears in the beginning too. I was still playing madden on ps2 lol

In about a year or so the next gen system will start getting hype and then I'm going to have to shell out hundreds of dollars to get that.

Sometimes I just wish they would all merge together and have 1 great system but then a monopoly would occur and the quality of games would SUCK and I would be pissed....I just wish I could play Gears,MGS,Mario and hell even Pokemon(I was a Pokemon fan back in the day...Charizard=) on the same system.

I had one RROD but ever since I got a replacment it's been fine. I had bought mine at launch.

I have to give it to Microsoft for owning up and providing the extended warrenty for RROD. While it sucked being out my 360 for a month, at least I got a new one free.

I sold my 360 and PS3 a while ago. Now I have the cash to buy both, but I'm thinking of going 360 only and then buy a bunch of games.
Not sure yet.

I just can't see why anyone would buy a PS3 as their sole console.

In my opinion....the list of 360 exclusives blows the PS3's away. The only few PS3 exclusives I can think of that I would like to play are; MGS4, God of War 3 and Little Big Planet.
