Question about Kick off return???
Me and my friends were playing some football the other day when this happened!!!

During a kickoff the ball hit our returner at the 5-yard line and then jumped out of the endzone. Our returner never had control, the ball just hit him.... So my question is: Is it a safety or a Touchback???

Here is my opinion
By the moment the ball hits a member of the receiveing team it is a fumble and the ball is up for grabs, if it goes out, I don't think it can't be a safety because the ball was not centered by the team that fumbled it.Therefore, to me it is a touchback
