Trade Question?
Since the Raider signed Ryan..(which I am glad) but if the new HC did not want him, and he wanted to go to the Jets, could we trade him to the jets?
or is that allowed?

i know he signed this extension....but is it possible when the raiders hire a new HC, ryan could be let go in favor or another DC?

Actually the signing was confirmed by a friend of the RYAN family??? The RAIDERs did not confirm this, in addition RYAN has made it a point to stay out of the public eye...so confrimation is VERY shaky at best....personally I do not want to see him back!!

It is a done deal. Ryan is under contract with Oakland for three years. Now, if the new coach wants a different D coordinator, and Al agrees, it is possible that Ryan stays in a different role other than D coordinator, maybe assistant head coach and linebackers coach, but that is pretty unlikely. Al seems to be high on Ryan. The other option is if the new coach wants someone else, and Ryan also wants to go somewhere else to continue to be a D coordinator, both sides could nullify the contract, but that is unlikely as well.

With hearing the Rumors, that Ken was going after Ryan, so Al kept him, hoping that he gets Ken, and all is well...
I also heard that only HC could be traded for comp.

You cannot receive compensation for coordinators orassistant coachs only Head coachs. |
