Trade him, but only for the right price. We gave up the #7 pick in the draft and a starting LB to get him. Two years later we'll take a 3rd rounder? Trade him out of the division and find a way to get a mid first rounder, even if it means parting with a 5th round pick or something like that. Otherwise, you make him play next season.

I vacillate wildly on this point. You have to consider some key factors:

1. His salary. Big, bloated salary that only gets worse next year. We lose this and it free's up cap to resign Aso, resign others and get us prepared for FA next year.

2. He does not want to play here. If you do not like what you are doing, you will never do it well.

3. He is not as explosive as he was and his salary dictates he should be. After his injury in 2005 he also seems to be tentative.

4. This is a deep WR class and we already have some good WR's.

5. A bad attitude is a cancer, in a locker room, an office, or a house. It is best just to carve it out.

6. Let Coach Lane put his stamp on this team. By moving a problem child down the road, it is the first step. Trial by fire Coach Lane.

There are likely a thousand more reasons both ways. At the end of the day. I would like to see us trade him as in my opinion, that is what is best for our team in the long run.

Honestly, how can anyone support the team and yet 'Not care' about his high potential to ruin our new staff and make it even more difficult in the future to get/keep players and coaches.

Really, we can't afford to start over again and have this organization viewed as the 'Black hole' for coaches and players.

I don't get that one at all.
