We got a steal by getting Darnell Bing in the 4th but we passed up KO Simpson to get him. Howard Thomas looks good, but we don't really need another linebacker all that badly with Kirk Morrison and Danny Clark. We really need some good O-linemen, and some else to complement Burgess. Overall we are doing good at taking care of the wholes that we have in our backfield.

I gave them a B+ up from yesterdays B-. Good picks and guys with great upside and potential. Love the Huff, Howard and Bing picks. The 2 OL we will have to see but both have a nasty streak so they are good with me.

I'm sorry, I'm the guy who gave us a C-. I believe we needed a stud outside linebacker, Morrison and Clark are both inside guys, and Sam Williams is still raw and an injury risk always. Howard scares me cuz he's a little small, and we needed a DE or DT in the 4th round, not some too light for LB Darnell Bing. Our DE's are all situational guys, and our tackles??? Hope Hawthorne is ready for prime time!! I also would've liked us to take some speed back with good hands. I love Al and I believe in Art Shell, but I wish we would someday draft football players and not just good atheletes.

B. Would have been B+ with a DT, RB or TE. A- with two. A with all three and A+ with all three plus a QB or a K for good measure.

We did enough to fill obvious needs. The void created by Woodson & Hill's departure, our lack of LBs, the inconsistentcy of our line were all well addressed. Though some picks were questionably reaches/projects, i am sold on the players we picked up. WR with the 7th though? Definitely brought down the grade.

I sometimes wonder if the Raiders draft players just for shock value. They could have had such a strong first day.

Huff was a great pick finally an actual safety. lol
Howard will be good for covering TE's I hope.
Bing S converted to LB please don't hurt USC rep with a short exit please, time to gain some weight also.
T,G,and the mean nasty long snapping center. We'll see about that. lol
and Jerry Porter's replacement Kevin McMahon fear the name it's coming for you. lol
Overall Grade B for badass. lol

It's a tall order, but if Howard does nothing but help shut down Gonzalez and Gates, the battle for the division just got a lot easier. I gave a B+ cause I would have liked to seen a DT or DE, but am glad we got a guard in the 3rd and Bing in the fourth definitely can't hurt. Tell me that guard and his brother don't look like (something politically incorrect and immature)? Hopefully, he's a bad mother ****er.
