Johnson will be gone before the Raiders draft I really belive the Raiders will sign RB L.Jordan in FA . It now looks like that Jerry Porter won't be back next year so my vote goes to Braylon Edwards

I had to agree with you on that one bro. He's all that and a bag a chips! Sign Lamont Jordan, draft Ronnie Brown, then go full throttle defense. Our RB corp will be set for years and we'll have enough high pics and FA money left to get this defense right....

I picked Derrick Johnson b/c I think we'll land L.Jordan in free agency. If DJ is already gone,I'm in favor of trading down,if possible, and grabbing as many quality defensive guys as we can.
If Porter bails on us,I'd grab a good free agent WR and work with what we've got.We could use Teyo in the slot if we have to.
We need to address as many weak spots simultainiously,so I wouldn't be in favor of drafting another back with our 1st pick,if we do get a quality free agent back.
The Jets did this when they drafted Jordan and ignored their need for a CB,and it didn't pay off for them.I'd rather have a balanced team in terms of talent, rather than be stocked in one position, and weak in others.

The running game keeps our D off the field....
Look at what the Patriots did to the Colts...
Therefore, since Benson will not be there at #7, I think we take Ronnie Brown and sign Lamont Jordan who, here in NYC, is considered a "goner" now that John Abraham is getting tagged. We should try to pawn off Buchanon before the draft in exchange for a second-rounder which, in turn, would be packaged off with our other second-rounder to move up to the first-round and draft Demarcus Ware.

Ware is a good player, but I don't think he's a first round talent.Someone will probably grab him in the second round, but he might even fall to the early 3rd if the teams that are picking don't have a need for an OLB.
