I'm going to get both eventually, but you know I'm for PS3 to tear up Microsoft...
The only problem is when the PS3 comes out, I've heard Microsoft and Bungie want to release Halo 3 around this time...

I was hoping for a Halo3 release same time as the console. But what you said makes lots more sense.

No prob...I'm hooked on Xbox...will still get the 360 like I said. Nice to see competition tho...good for the consumer.

Of course, it's the best way to overshadow the PS3 release.
I'm expecting big things from Sony around this time.

Exclamation PS3 Unveiled!!!!




IMO, it looks alot better than the 360.
The controller looks cool, but I wonder if it will be better than the dual shock, that's my only concern.
The PlayStation 3 will also sport some multimedia features, such as video chat, Internet access, digital photo viewing, and digital audio and video.
The PlayStation 3 will use Blu-ray discs as its media format. The discs can hold up to six times as much data as current-generation DVDs. It will also support CR-ROM, CD-RW, DVD, DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD+R formats. Sony also confirmed the machine would be backward compatible all the way to the original PlayStation.
It will also come in different colors.

Seeing as I still have my original ps2 (second shipment) and haven't had to replace it, I'm thinking I'm gonna get one. Any specs as to video, ram and processor?

I will wait for a year after release. Sony is know to rush things. It happend to PS2 then PSP all the "2nd wave" shipments are better not to mention will be cheaper than the release "packages"
