Madden 08 for PS3

For starters, does anyone else have this for PS3?

I am having a ton of problems with this game.

Am I doing something wrong, did I get a bad version, or are these features simply not there. I have read reviews of Madden 08 and it says that it has the mini games "Rushing Attack" and "Two Minute Drill". I can't find them anywhere! All that is there under game modes are Superstar, Mini Games, Hall of Fame Franchise and Practice.. then there are three marked spots where it looks like options are supposed to be and or missing.

I have searched the net and read reviews, nobody says anything about the PS3 version missing features.

Also, I am having a ton of trouble with INTs. I wouldn't consider myself a gamer, but I have always done pretty well at Madden and I am having an impossible time in the passing game. Of course, I always play with the Raiders, so I am playing with a sorry team rating, but that has never gotten in my way before. Some of the way they intercept and block out passing lanes from like 20 yards away is so unrealistic. I know I could make a lot of the throws in real life that the game won't let me... frustrating, anyone else having these problems?

Your mini games are under the mini games tab. Also, there is practice!

Why you are probably getting INT's is your not throwing to your primary reciever... Go to practice and try - you'll see when you throw to your primary reciever it increases your chance for an INT. Also, try throwing on 1st down and see what your percentage is... They are probably dropping back in zone and your not picking it up!!

I have checked under the mini games tab... all it is is QB challenge, 40 yard dash, bench press etc etc. Those are like drill games...

I am talking about the actual mode where you can run the two minute drill... I think that would be very helpful to me and my passing game.

Good point about not throwing to my number one option.... that may very well be. But I am going through my progressions, I shouldn't be penalized throwing to the open receiver. I am picking up on the zones... I am keying in on the safeties, who is playing in the flats, how deep the corners drop... I am able to read Cover 1, Cover 2, or Cover 3 and I appropriatelty throw in the passing windo between defenders... but the DBs will close incrediblly fast (like 10 yards away) or some guy 20 yards away will jump up and intercept it. The latter kills me. If I have an out route and and have a guy with like 8 yards of seperation with an LB sitting in the passing lane 20 yards closer to the LOS, I should be able to complete that shouldn't I? I have tried everything... throwing the ball to the outside of the WR, throwing it high... and a lot of times that LB 20 yards in leaps up and INTS it... total BS.

I don't know what to tell you because I have Madden 08 for XBOX360. I would ask this question in the video game forum. We even have a thread dedicated to Madden.

I wondered if there was one here, I looked around a bit and saw nothing. I'll look some more, thanks.

thats why i dont like madden for next gen consoles real unrealistic..too many fumbles in the game as well! i know u can change this in the settings but come one! and the gameplay is just bad in my opinion its seem a rb can juke a player by not even using highlight stick, spin, or anything ...
i play it for ps2 because of gameplay sure graphics are a little less impressive but its jsut a funner game.. i noticed that madden 08 for next gen ...looks a lot like madden 03, 02 and so on..for the gc and ps2 system.....
it would be awesome if the gameplay was like the ncaa games for 360 and ps3

has anyone else noticed this?
