Troy Smith wants to be a raider
This is really just a rumor but I heard Troy Smoth would love to play for the Raiders but what happened to this guy? has he fallen off draft boards cuz on all mock drafts he isnt even going to a team in the 2nd round and this guy won the heisman and was suppose to be a top 3 pick

Yeah I am in Buckeye town right now. JP played with his brother at O state, sounds like tish guy has let his ego get the best of him. He isn't even working out at Ohio State anymore, him and the coach got into it from what I hear and he didn't have a great combine either.

This guy will not make it in the NFL. He's to short, he'd always have to roll out. Plus he's done nothing to excite the scouts with his workouts. Career backup at best and we don't need him or want him.

being from ohio and watching smith for a while now, imo he is waayyyy overrated. he had ALOT OF TALENT around him. not worth more than a 3rd imo. and that might be reaching. not very accurate, and though he did put it together for his senior season, very very questionable off filed judgement. of course i am a HUGE wolverine fan so take that into account!!!!!!!!!

I've heard this rumor before and I believe it was on this board.

I guess I'm in the minority that I don't want to see him in Silver and Black; he just looked unmotivated and unprepared in the National Championship which should have been the game he was the most prepared for in his life. Unless he was sick, or hurt and I've just somehow never heard the real reason before then I would rather see a Kevin Kolb in the 4th or Stanton if he falls that far. Kolb has a hell of a work ethic and tremendous leadership ability, after Houston's loss to the end the season he took all of the blame and when the press blamed the defense for sticking them in a hole early he rufused to take that bait and continued on what HE could have done better to help the team.

Take him with our extra 7th rd pick we have , that is the only way I would want Troy Smith on the raiders. It would be a waste of a pick if he is pick anytime before the 6th round. Overated big time.
