I can only imagine how Walter felt hanging in there until he got creamed in an effort to get Moss the ball, only to see him give up repeatedly on the play, not fight for a ball, or see it bounce off both of his hands and fall to the ground.
I also remember clearly several would-be TD's and many more would-be 1st downs dropped. I bet his teammates stuck in the same system were pretty frustrated too watching this repeated display of 'quit'.
I might be in the minority but after seeing Moss refuse to fight for balls in the middle of the field, one part of Shells decison making i actually
could understand is the staff not expecting him to fight for it when the field is so much shorter in the red zone. Never understood what was not to get about that one.
