Jordan Restructures

Was just watching NFL Total access. The marquee notes on the bottom of the page said exactly "Raiders have restructured contract of RB Lamont Jordan saving 2 million on the salary cap"

I think our Salary cap issue is being handled. Hopefully the Raiders can trade moss for a high second rounder soon making a bigger gap in our cap. Then we can actually acquire a Vet FA this off-season. I also heard that Donte Stallworth will likely be signed by the Pats. This would probably end the possiblity of the Raiders trading Moss to New England for a 1st rounder

I think the cap weve got is looking pretty good now becuse when we did simms we had nine mill under. The following things then happend ty poole cut saving 2 mil, curry redid his contract saving 2 mil and then jordan redid his saving two mil we cut brooks that saved 5.7 mil which we used on robert thomas and sands. we then used the money we cut ty poole with on Tommy Kelly so we are looking roughly at 13 mil in cap space. what i did was add the 2 mil that curry and jordan gave us too the nine mil we already had then the numbers that poole and
brooks gave were used on kelly, sands and thomas. we should be at 13 mil

lamont had the most success as a recieving back, let him do some of that (granted he has to remember how to catch) and he may have success again.

Not necessarily. I believe the Raiders would have suffered a pretty big salary cap hit by cutting Jordan. The cap hit should be significantly less next year so I wouldn't expect Jordan to be the long term solution at RB. I would surprised if the Raiders don't look to pickup a RB with one of the first three picks.
