Dwight Freeney Anyone?

He is a FA this Offseason and with the Colts Getting there Ring, i think they might just be set on letting him go...i mean....he would cost some money and they still got Manning to pay....and besides that still leaves them with a great DE anyway. Could you imagine.....Burgess and Freeney! WOW!!!!

That would be sick but I think all our money will be spent on offense this year.

QB, OG, OT, DT, TE, FB, S and RB are much more of a need ATM. The Raiders would be stupid to pay Freeney his asking price.....or his soon to be elevated asking price. Our cap space isn't that great to spend it all on a name player. No thanks.....don't need him.

If he is franchised don't be surprised if the Pats offer their 2 first rounders for him.

Colts GM has already said he'll franchise tag him if they can't work out an extension. But even if they didn't tag him you don't leave the defending World Champs for a 2-win team.

he is
and to give up 2 1st rounder for a 4-3 DE who has never played OLB to adjust to a new type of position is dumb.

that won't happen. If anything a team like the Redskins who is notoriously known for throwing away draft picks and over pay people will try to get Freeney and even than its highly unlikely.

Cato June is probably the only guy that is going anywhere. If we're not strapped for cash I wouldn't mind signing him. I am not sure how good sam williams is. Of course we will be strapped for cash after we sign the #1 overall pick. I hate the money teams have to give up in order to sign overall #1s!
