Cool Dominic Rhodes

I was looking through the list of free agents and dominic rhodes was listed as an unrestricted free agent. He looked good in the Super Bowl against a good bears D i think he would be a good fit for our offense and we can use him as our starter then bring in jordan for 3rd down/goal line situation. What do you think?

Lamont and rhodes would be a great 1-2 punch

i love dominic rhodes but not just because hes a good player. my sister lived next to him when he went to midwestern state. my sister got to know him pretty good and she loves the colts just cause of him. and my g/f now goes to midwestern. but hes a tough runner and fights for every yard. i would love for dominic to come to oakland but i think the colts will sign him back; they have a good thing going with him and addai.

Sounds good, I Still think we should draft Marshawn Lynch.

The Colt have to worry about Freeney and weather or not they can keep June, we'll see how important Rhodes is to them after all that

I agree. Last year they let edge go in order to retain wayne. so with june and freeney about to cash in we will see if they have enough money left over for Rhodes. Although the colts love letting all-pro linebackers walk.

i watched every colts game this year and i def wouldnt want rhodes as our starter, hes a good change of pace back and can get his couple possesions but no way is he a starter, addai is way better than him IMO, wouldnt be worth the $

He has already stated that he is more comfortable coming in as the pace changer. When he started early in the season this year , he struggled.

didn't a lot of people say the exact same thing with Lamon Jordan when he was with the Jets?

you are right, and i heard rhodes wants an oppurtunity to start and addai i think started every playoff game. but i dont think the colts have to worry about freeney; he will either sign back or they will franchise him

Being from Champaign IL, My local channels showed all the Colts games. I can say that i wouldnt mind him on our team. He is a tough little back that can catch about anything thrown to him. I would love to see him on our team, but only as a change of pace. I just hope he doesent get a big head about the pounding he gave the bears. still want Lynch. We need someone that wants to bleed for us. Sounds like our guy. I do think we will be able to trade and have 2 picks in the 1st.
