Talking How about this trade?

The Raiders will trade Randy Moss, 2nd round pick, and "maybe" 3rd round pick to the Vikings.

The Vikings will trade 1st round pick to the Raiders. (7th overall pick)

So, that way the Raiders will draft JaMarcus Russell in the 1st overall pick and Adrian Peterson in the 7th overall pick...

As much as I would love to pick up both of these guys, It will not happen with this scenerio! AP will not last to the 7th pick. Top 5 IMO!

The new Vikings owner wont bring in Moss. He said he wants character guys after the "stripper boat" scandal.

Ironically, Blank said the same thing which puts Vick trades out of question as well.

sorry to be like this... but how is this a rumor? this is a thought... not a rumor. rumors are things heard around the league that aren't backed up by any proof. this belongs in raiders discussion. because you are discussing a situation. it is a very interesting discussion and something we all hope for. its just not a rumor. theres different sections to post different topics here for a reason. please use them. because people like myself who log on to read in different topics such as rumors expect to find out what the rumor is in rumor mill. hope this clears it up

Now that Knapp is hired as OC what offense will we run, can Russell run WCO or a version of it.

Why would we draft Russell for a West Coast offense? That is like buying a jaguar for a quiet Sunday drive. Makes no sense.

I doubt Moss is worth 650 but if we can get that much value for him I am all for it. I think the only team that will trade a 1st for him is probably Baltimore. He has said he wants to play there, they are contenders (he would work his deal for them) and they don't care about character at all there...

Shuffle off to Buffalo.

By destroying the validity of ideas evolution undercuts even the idea of evolution.

It may be easier to trade down, pick up additional picks, and then maybe pull-off a deal with Moss. But that would be alot of money tied up between two high draft choices. We have a lot of holes on this team. I'd like to see us gather more pics before unloading Moss.
