Raiders to hire Sarkisian by end of night?

ESPN's John Clayton reported on Sportscenter that the Oakland Raiders are looking for USC assistant Steve Sarkisian to offer him their Head Coach position. Sarkisian is currently on the road recruiting for USC. Clayton says he expects Sarkisian to be hired by the end of the night.

Awesome I hope its true. I really like this choice and will be looking very foward to the upcomming season now. Tell you the truth if Shell had stayed or if the Raiders had hired a retread I wouldn't be excited about the 07 season. Yes I would still watch and root but my heart wouldn't be completely assured that we would win now I think we'll have some hope and a modern day team.

NFL Network is now reporting that Raider's officials have found Sark and are discusssing contract terms. Look for a deal to be done before the end opf the night, maybe even the next hour or 2. The only question left? Will Lane Kiffin come with him to form Oakland's new 'Dynamic Duo'?
