The Latest
I am hearing conflicting reports:
Rumors on this site had Sarkisian as a done deal as soon as the Raiders complied with the Rooney Rule. Now I hear WDR in Premium is saying there will be no decision for a few more weeks -- possibly because Belicheck's 30 year old OC is now in the running. My concern: Chargers fire Marty -- hire Carrol and take Sark as OC before Al decides. Thoughts or additions?

I don't think we need a few more weeks. If Patriots OC is in the running then Al needs to make a choice between him and Sark, with Ryan an outsider.

Sarkisian doesn't have enough experience to be HC... QB coach to HC? That's a stretch. Might be just what we need though.

This post is just based on others I have read in the various forums on this site: I am not trying to stir things up or create reactionary news as the media like to do just to dig for an answer.
In any case, one post mentioned that WDR claimed that our head coaching vacancy won't be filled for a few more weeks -- and then tried to connect it to the New England OC. Even if you are premium and it irks you that us plebians are still curious depsite our lack of premium info -- jump into this discussion anyway if you want.
