ESPN just said that Sarkisian is the front runner but patriots o coor/qb coach josh mcdaniels could get a look from AL. just heard thought id let yall know. also mcdaniels is 30 years old.

That would be a wise move. But I want to know if he has a lot to do with the sucess of their oline. If he does, than they should hire him right a way. NE protects Brady with an Oline that has a bunch of 5th and 6th rd picks and only one 1st rd pick (Mankins). That's amazing.

I am amazed at how the media will throw a name out there and everyone jumps on it. He is a 1st YEAR coordinator, he has NO head coaching experience at any level, other than the most recently completed season he has NO coordinator experience at any level!! Before the many coaches on the PATRIOT staff left to pursue other opportunities he was in charge of film and coffee.
There is NOTHING here that says he is a vaible candidate for a NFL head coach position!! If we are going to reach for a coach at least reach for someone who has done something !!!

I think he was just throwing out a name he thought we might be interested in looking at. Nothing concrete saying that we will look at him.

 Thank you billwilliams70 its great! Raiders fans players past and present coaches and yes even the owner all together are the Raiders but not just one person not even Al Davis by himself is the Raiders!
