I was listening to ESPN radio in the car while the Ravens game was on. I didn't recognize the two radio hosts so it must have been just a fill in. However Don Martindale, the Raiders LB coach was on the show just reflecting on the playoffs and who he thought would win the game. Then the topic shifted to the Oakland Riaders which was nice for me being from Jersey and not really hearing any decent raider conversations on the radio unless the host is jeering us but anyway the two hosts were not ignorant or obnoxious they said to Martindale that the offense was horrible but told him the defense was among the leagues best and complemented the defense on the coaching as well as the players. The next part really made me smile because then the host brought up Kirk Morrison. He said he was the most underrated but one of the best MIKE LB's in the country. Martindale said that Kirk does everything for us and has all the right tools to make it as a premier player in this league. Just a little recognition goes a long way.
Often Raider players are often overlooked and even laughed at so to get that recognition and respect back to the raider franchise.......Just win baby
