Thumbs up Jake Plummer in Oakland?

This is just a thought, but if in fact Sarkisian is our next hc, Jake Plummer could come in and run the west coast offense very well, he would have A passion to beat the broncos, something we can't seem to do these days and is a proven vet.
We then could trade down in the draft and pic Lynch/Petterson and pick up some more skill players in the draft. I think this would get our offense rolling, and have us in the playoffs next year.

I have nothing against the snake... I actually think he is a solid QB, I am optimistic though, whether or not he could possibly run a west coast type offense.

Plummer is inconsistantly inconsistant and even the broncos fans think he is garbage. He couldnt keep his job vs a rookie. No thanks.

people must be forgetting an afc championship game last year when jake plummer lead the donkeys to one game from the big dance..... But anyway I really hope we draft russell I was just thinking this could be the quickest fix. Since when did we give broncos fans credit?

The only thing Plummer can do is the bootleg......but that play will eventually be like going to the well one too many times....

I could see Plummer taking us to the superbowl with a good running game

Ya i agree that Jake is better than anyone that we have now but it is time ti get a soild good young player and give this team the energy and youthfullness that it lacks and has lacked for a couple of years. We need Russell or someone of his kind that will provide a shock of excitment in the nation and the locker room.

I would rather have Mini Me running around as QB of this team than Jake the Fake. Ya he finally had a good year last year, but for his career he has been consistant in one thing... being inconsistant. Let him go somewhere else.

There will be better alternatives for a veteran QB this offseason...

F*ck Jake Plummer. Not because he is a Donkey. But because he is a choke artist. Has been his whole career. Gets a team to the Playoffs and then falls flat on his ass, year after year. Started in Arizona with the Cardinals and continued with the Donkeys. We want a guy who can win the big games, not lose on a consistent basis. We want a QB that can outduel the other QB's, the guy that can overcome good defenses, bro, & the guy that finds any way necessary to win. That guy isn't Plummer. Never has been & never will be. IF we are going to talk about Jake Plummer being in the Silver & Black, might as well keep Aaron Brooks or Andrew Walter or, hell, even Marques Tuiasosopo since Plummer will NOT be an improvement by any means, he is just another stop-gap, status quo, retread transaction.

Get real folks, if you want the same wholesale and systemic changes that you call for, bringing Plummer to the Raiders is the very last move that you would make to affect that end.
