History repeating itself

Could it happen again? With Brady Quinn being quoted wanting to go to CLE we could be in a simular situation ie. chargers\falcons and nyg\chargers. I can see us drafting quinn at 1 spot and cleveland taking either russel or peterson with thier pick and us getting some late picks. Does anyone else see this happening?

If this was a perfect world the Raiders would draft Quinn with the first pick, and get Marshawn Lynch with their next pick.

Why would Quinn want to play w/ the Browns? Anyways, in my opinion, he will be a bust in the NFL. Always did good against the weak teams but struggled against the better teams. One benefit though, he has played in a pro style offense for the last 2 years.

Yup. Can't really do anything right now other than speculate. And if Quinn ends up anything like Manning with the whole "I want to play here, I don't want to play there" thing, then he can go and pack sand. We don't need someone like him.

I stated in another thread that Quinn may want to play for the Browns because he grew up and played High school ball in Ohio (Columbus).
By the same token, the Browns could also benefit from Quinn's selection seeing that they could possibly use it as a marketing ploy to attract more fanfare.

It worked for Elway, over time. But you can't help but wonder if the Mannings aren't a little embarrassed right about now. I think these kids will think twice.

It could play out, I would rather trade the pick outright.

I don't want him wearing a Raiders hat and jersey with no intention of either having him wear it.

Eli can take some notes, he had better WR, as good a TE and RB, and he's at home watching the Chargers.

I'd send him comp tickets for helping the team's three probowlers his trade made get there...
