Chad Pennington is quarterbacking the Raiders next year. Talk here on the east coast is that the Jets will have a tough decision over the off season whether to switch the team over the Kelly Clemens because of his arm strength. I realize he doesn't have the arm strength but he knows how to win. I'd rather see him back there then Walter any day. By doing this, we could draft that running back we need so desperately.

It's kinda weird how accurate he is on deep throws when lacking the arm strength of other QBs. And it's also weird how he trusts his arm enough to gun it into a receiver surrounded by defenders over the middle more than most stronger armed QBs.

I don't see it happening but a guy like Pennington is exactly what we need here. Someone who is a football player and wins. As opposed to the look at me I can run fast or throw the ball pretty players the orginization seems to love.

I haven't heard any talks on CP possibly being let go by the NYJ's or him coming to Oakland.

If he does leave New York, I would bet the first place most people would assume he ends up is Kansas City. He and Herm still are good friends... and I have a feeling we will be going to that style of offense next year.

Not sure how excited I am about that, but that is my thinking right now.
