Watch out, a lot of people hate Brady Quinn on here. They'll even go so far as o make up false stats to prove their point. Fact is Brady Quinn is hands down the best qb in this years draft.

How in god's name is he better than Russell give me a break. The reason anyone knows who he is is because he plays ND, thats it. He plays aganinst NFL style D and he has lost ever time. I dont care about his record as far as touchdowns etc.. So why is he the best pick? The reason is he is really the only guy anyone knows. How is he a better collage qb than troy smith, who has won, how is he better than russell who is a monster at qb and really has what it takes to be a great NFL as well as Troy Smith. I think Quinn will be like Pennington from the jets good and thats about it. the only thing he has incommon with Tom Brady is they both have Brady in their name that's it. Quinn will be the next Todd M. just without the drugs.

Are You kidding me. JaMarcus Russell proved he is far better then Quinn in the Sugar Bowl. Quinn had the abvantage of having an NFL OC for 2+ years and Jamarcus still kicked his but.

Quinn in big games is a big fat dud.

Quinns intelligance at the QB position vastly outweighs Russells physical freakness. Give me the high IQ over the physical freakness anyday of the week. Add to that, that Quinn can make all the throws needed in the NFL and that makes it hard to pass on Quinn.

Kinda like passing up a Tom Brady type QB for a Duante Culpepper type QB. Who has won more Super Bowls??

Tom Brady also has one of the smartest NFL coaches

Duante hasn't

so who's to say Duante wouldn't have won SBs playing for the Patriots.

You can find all the USDeeDeeDee fans here whining & bitching about Brady Quinn because he is from Notre Dame.

Youre right...you cant say if he wouldve won or lost those SBs.

I meant as a comparison of the qbs who have won the superbowl...

Intelligent vs. "Freak" and other than Doug Williams in SB XXII I dont see a "freak" qb winning the SB. I do see a lot of smart savy qb's winning it though.

(Which is my argument...not Brady vs. Culpepper) my bad

Not sayin Quinn has the savy right now (as that comes from experiance), but he is well on the way to becoming a very good smart quarterback. Even though he didnt have the best game, a QB is going to have those kind of days...even with the game being way out of reach, he still wasnt impressed that his receivers were'nt doing their jobs...thats the sign of a good QB

Quinn is not worth the no. 1 overall pick, at least not right now. Some people hate on Notre Dame but bottom line is they ARE overrated, weren't they the 11th ranked team? How did they get a BCS bowl berth? Because of reputation. Plus Quinn would most likely pull an Elway/Eli on us and bitch and whine about not wanting to play here.

I am a Notre Dame fan, and I don't want Quinn. He has great stats, but has never won a meaningful game. He has lost all his bowl games, and hasn't shown any impressiveness in big games.
