Hey, bad O-line or not he didn't prove that he can be the future so he is now the new TUI since TUI himself is moving on. Thats why when your given a chance to prove yourself you suppose to play well but he didn't so he is now and forever a back-up for this team.

Damn man i hope Walter gonna be our starter next year. I don't wan Quinn, i rather take Troy Smith in the 2nd round in case Walter can't handle the job, but that's all.

We need to draft a offensive playmaker, either Adrian Peterson (i want him) or Calvin Jonhson (i would like to have him).

no big surprise here, when given a chance he showed nothing at all.i dont know where this poise and pocket presence people talked about were.this line was bad and i didnt expect miracles but he showed next to nothing.he was rattled and scared and never took charge.it was a bad situation but he didnt show me he had the heart to fight through it

That was the knock on him coming out of college that he didn't have any fire
This team will always be bad intil we find a TRUE LEADER at the QB position

A QB needs to establich a rhythm with his WRs....

Between running for his life, and Moss dropping any ball he had his hands on... and not making plays on the ball... Walter never had a shot.

Both QBs were playing behind the 8-ball all year long. I expected more from Brooks though.

And some of you want the team to draft a QB??? drafting a franchise QB wouldn't help this team anymore than Brooks was supposed to because of the OL... having a quality RB can help solve some of that but Walter or whomeever will never stand a chance behind that line...he's doomed

Can't we upgrade the line as well? What if we sign several good FA lineman?

Oh BS he had a chance and had Plenty of plays where the line did a fine job. In watching a lot of college games lately I realize something I did not as the season went on ... DTs, DEs and LBs are ****ing FAST these days man ... you don't have any room for error on the offense most plays else someone's going to disrupt the play in a big hurry. Seems to me that every QB, NFL or college, spends a good amount of time running for thier lives ... this is not a Walter or Raider exclusive. Yes, of course you need someone caling plays to minimize these disruptions, but at the same time you have to have a QB who can handle it ... scramble yes, but more often just hang in there, keep focused downfield, and trust yourself and your teammates.
Dude did a terrible job hanging in there (and hanging onto the ball), did not keep downfield focus (missing countless wide open people throughout the season) and clearly lacked trust across the board. Sure, he had a few guys whom maybe he should not have trusted - what did he do about that??? Another chance blown.
Dude aint it at all - move on NOW.

Again a report from a different source says one thing and you beleive.....I think walter will be given a chance next season to show us what he can do...... And this report already saying Quinn is the likely candidate....The Raiders never show their hand until draft day.....I take it with a pinch of salt.....

Yeah Quinn would have lite it up behind this line. If I was to get any QB, the only complete looking QB that I have seen this year is Brennan.

Establish a run game behind a decent OL. Start with Peterson and get FA OL, Walter will do well in his development.
