1st 2 picks - Calvin Johnson / JeMarcus Russell

Report out of New Orleans newspaper is....

If both these guys come out, it would be great to see them together. Could be better than Culpepper/Moss.

Calvin #1 overall, and JeMarcus?(spelling) with our 2nd pick.

Personally, I think they'll both be gone in the first 10 picks if they come out...but it would be nice to see..

2nd?

Russell will not come out if he is a 2nd round pick
he will only come out if he is a 1st round projected QB and most likely because of his size and his arm strength, some team will pick him up in the 1st round and most likely in the top 20.

Please. No WR in the first round... We need a QB unless we get one in free agency. We need an impact player (maybe Peterson) ?

I've said it before, but I like Adrian Peterson. The guy has heart and battled back from that major injury. He WANTS to play; he is driven. We need a running game, period.

I believe in Walter. This off-season may do him some good to meld more with the team. A first-round RB pick would make me happier than a pig in sh*t.

I'm with you on this one. We need a running game. I knwo our O line is awful but I truly believe Jordan is not the answer.

CJ and JR would be a dream come true. But no way it actually happens. I think they'll both be top 5 picks and we can't afford to trade up for a second pick that high. IMO, we need a QB, offensive linemen, RB and WR in that order. I'm assuming Moss, Porter and Jordan are gone next year.

Given the Raiders' hard line on athleticism, I don't see them picking Brady. And I think we learned our lesson taking an offensive tackle with one of the top picks. I think Calvin Johnson is even more of a standout than Adrian Peterson (and that's saying a lot). But we need a RB more. But the world is going to think a lot more of JeMarcus Russell this week after he annihilates Brady Quinn and Notre Dame. Physically, he fits the bill and I think QB is our biggest need.

If only Al had traded up for Vince Young last year.

No, Peterson (or Lynch). And if we HAVE to get a QB (which I hope we dont) I'd rather have Colt Brennan. Although the Ds he played against were not top notch, his passes were dead on and he made NFL type of throws accurately.

CJ would do us no good. When you're struggling on offense a good RB can hide weaknesses at QB and o-line much more than a WR can.

Any one who wants Peterson should watch yesterday's Fiesta Bowl. Less than 3 yards per carry with a good O-Line=PATHETIC!

On the other hand...look at Calvin Johnson! He tore it up yesterday!

1st preference: CJ
2nd pref: Quinn
3rd pref: Russell

OU's oline was not able to give good blocking against Boise State...they were penetrating OU's oline the whole game....until AP broke for a 25yrd TD run ,and he was only given 20 carries the whole game.

The Raiders have enough WRs. What we need is a good RB to complement Fargas' speed. LJ is a joke and needs to be traded.

It's more realistic to get Calvin Johnson/Troy Smith in the first two rounds

I say we get lynch and trade for carr as qb. that gives us a chance at getting dawayne jarret from usc in the second cause i dont think he will go first round.maybe use some more picks on guys who touch the ball ant then get a whole lot of oline guy's.
