Jerry Porter for Mike Williams.

Porter wanted Mike Martz to be his coach. Raiders need a WR and Mike Williams would be a good pick up IMO. He is still young and change could be the best for him. I remember watching him on SportsCenter once he said he was a Raiders fan and he wanted to play for the Raiders.

I doubt the Raiders would get much vaule for Porter in draft picks. Maybe a 4th round pick.

Thoughts?

Williams is a bust so far.

he's not a bust look who he is playing for. The have a shot team like they do every year for the lions. We need to go get someone like that, that way if we do get someone like quinn or smith I am hoping it would be smith, we have a better wr core than we do now.

I would rather offload Porter for another WR. Williams may do well with the Raiders.

It would also take Calvin Johnson out of the draft day equation if the Raiders trade JP for another WR.

Yeah, and the situation here is so much different right now.

Reminder - we 'competed' with Detoit right down to the final week for the top pick in the draft. By the way, we 'won'....

I am not saying we are better by any extent. I am just we have been a **** team for couple of year they have always been a **** team.
