Jeff Garcia

I am not saying that I want him, and have heard no news that would suggest he is coming, but he said himself he is playing for a starting job. He is from the bay area, and has shown the ability to make a big play. Would you be interested in him as a starting Quarter Back?

The only way Jeff Garcia would succeed as our QB are as follows

1. Improve offensive line

2. Find WRs that will play to their potential

3. Go to the WCO instead of Vertical Passing game

4. Hire Marty Mornhinweg as our Offensive Coordinator

Agree with Sonic, Garcia will only survive with a good O-line and the WCO. He'd die by game two with this offense.

Garcia plays with alot of heart and generally makes good decisions. However as has been mentioned he is a WC QB. He is probably not a solution but he could fill a gap for a year or two if our offense would get into the 21st Century.

A new staff could mean a new O system. If that were the case and we hired a wco coach, I'd take Garcia.

Hopefully Al realizes the vertical passing game doesn't work. The last time our team ran a West Coast offense, we went to a superbowl.
