Jaguars to Pursue Moss?

Find a go-to receiver. Jimmy Smith is gone, and nobody on this roster has been close to his reincarnation. So desperate are the Jaguars for a true No. 1 pass-catcher that they can't rule out pursuing the Oakland Raiders' Randy Moss.

I would trade Moss for their 1st round pick, I would consider Leftwich but he's immobile and he'd get killed behind our OL.

I'm starting to see more and more rumors about Moss. And the price is always a 3rd rounder. I got a feeling Al is pissed off at this guy but is also TERRIFIED of getting stuck with his $9.75 million salary next year so we're going to end up dumping him for a 3rd.

Al Davis won't even take a 2nd round pick for Moss it will be a 1st or he's staying

You haven't heard ONE peep coming out of the Raiders Organization directly or undirectly unlike with Porter.

It was known almost immediately that if the right deal came came along he could go.

That's not a good sign if your wanting Moss to get traded.

Well, paying Moss $9.75 million to half-ass it in 2007 is not a good decision. Al got ****ed big-time by the Vikings in 2005 but if he digs in hoping to turn the tables on somebody else all he's going to do is wind up flushing $9.75 million down the toilet.

Al got screwed by Woodson last year when he franchised tagged him with the intent to trade him. But Woodson wisely signed the $10.5 million tender and Al got stuck with a huge contract that he didn't want to pay. The same think could happen next year with Moss.
