Boy i hope so. I'd take a late 1st / high second.
I'm more concerned with what we can do with the pick to help our team and to get rid of the cloud more than how he might do briefly with another team before he decides again that he doesn't want to play. |

If we can trade him and get rid of the cap figure then its a good idea. Not sure how that works though. Just read an article that states that we save a bunch if we wait till the June 1 round of cuts to get rid of him, and Porter too. I think if we keep both of them we pay around 15 mill. If we cut them both on June 1 we pay like 4.1 mill. Not a bad savings. I think the June 1 cut date will see a bunch of Offensive guys gone. We'll know prior to that if we sign guys from those positions.
Here's the link to that article. http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercu...s/16314911.htm

I don't think there is any way we just cut Moss and Porter. We'd just be handing the SB to San Diego for the next 3 or 4 years because WR is the weakest part of their offense.
We're nuts if we pay that $4.75 million roster bonus to Jordan. Dude is way too fragile to be a workhorse running back. |

probably 2nd, or 3rd rounder seriously, what is moss worth at this point...people wanting a first i think is alot of wishing, i mean it could happen, but i dont see teams wanting to invest that much in to moss

I doubt Miami will be interested...
I know Saban loves outcasts, and he works well with them, and he took a chance on Ricky Williams etc. But, they have Booker and Chambers locked up, and McMichael...they dont need Moss. Jax, Wash, and maybe TB will be my only assumptions... |

just one reporter speculating on what the compensation would be, my take is that there is no way he'll be dealt for anything less than a #1.

Sounds like a fair trade to me. Truthfully, not many teams are going to want to inherit a contract that calls for him to make $9.75 million next year. He's coming off now THREE straight disappointing seasons.
